Borrower Criteria

A Borrower on Faircent must:
  1. Be a resident of India.
  2. Have a minimum gross income of INR 2 lacs per annum.
  3. Provide all the documents mentioned in the checklist.

Lender Criteria

Any ‘Person’ can become a lender on the platform and ‘person’ shall include


  • an individual,
  • a body of individuals,
  • a HUF,
  • a firm,
  • a society, or
  • any artificial body, whether incorporated or not.

A Lender must have :
  1. a valid bank account in India.
  2. a PAN card.
  3. Agree to abide by
  4. Faircent Policies.
  5. Adhere to Lender Code of conduct

Institutional lenders :
  • Only RBI listed finance companies or Companies formed under
    the Indian Companies Act are eligible to apply
